Somehow the idea of wearing extra high heels with a swollen and probably broken ankle just didn't seem right. You're a very brave lady <g> There was nothing wrong with your navigational skills - you knew exactly what you were doing - it's the communication part that you have to work on. When you head the boat at the beam of another boat, you're supposed to shout "Be prepared to be rammed amidships" at them as a warning. It's only the polite thing to do. <g>
