I think there must be a multiprocessor version of spec, going from these SGI benchmarks. (Pretty impressive, by the way, for lowly 400 MHz MIPS processors.)

I may be too optimistic, but from what I saw and heard at MPF, I bet McKinley can get close to those fp scores at 1GHz and 125W of power.

From what I heard it won't be close<G>...

Fortunately for IBM, though, Power4 beats McKinley to market by two quarters.

McKinley begins pilot shipping pretty soon, if I'm not mistaken.
