Elmer, All valid questions. Is P4 one die or 2 when it's running in SMT mode?

There's only one CPU on the current P4 die, so the answer is one. Intel had a 2 CPU P4 die, or P4 server variant on the roadmap. Is it still there?

I would like to know the cost of that multidie module.

Assume you mean the IBM. IBM will never tell what they cost, unless they decide to sell them to another server vendor, in which case they still wouldn't tell, but we could guess.
