chhucles, I would assume these were options from waaay back, for pennies so I am not sure he would have held them as options or exercised them and held them as shares for whatever dividends they threww off since the cost may well be less than the dividend. I know if I held shares that had been split like Intel and paid a divident that exceeded the cost of exercise I would certainly exercise.
