Albert, It looks like AMD is able to stand the losses, but for how long. 100M per quarter will be hard to bear forever, so one hopes flash or hammer change that picture.

One cannot lose a little bit on every CPU and make it up on volume.
Laptop share increases will have an effect on the current quarter as many people do not want the dross celerons and the P-3 is even being made into laptops due to the high host of the laptop p3.
In addition the situation with i845 also adds money to AMD.
So we may well see some profit pulled out of the new year hat
