Oh, I see AMD's marketing message now... "Simply spend the money on the "MP" Athlon, and you can get even more performance, after you overclock it."

In other words, AMD does not have a practical reason to demand a higher margin on these.

P.S. The Athlon XP is now "supported" by AMD for dual processor configurations.
