Albert, I'm pretty sure I can build a computer, call it the "Lightning XP," and sell it without Microsoft's blessing. I'm also pretty sure I can write a video game, call it "Quake XP," and sell it without Microsoft's blessing, either.

(Of course, I might get in trouble with id Games, the makers of Quake, but it won't be for the use of 'XP'.)
