Grupo México's Asarco is closing three zinc mines in Tennessee too, announcement yesterday? ... don't know what amount of silver they put out, but isn't zinc pretty much always found with silver? ... much more silver comes as byproduct from zinc than from gold or copper, that's my impression anyway ... i've wondered for some time if the zinc tankola might improve supply/demand for silver ... don't know the answer, but it can't hurt, eh

On the other side of it, there's Antamina getting rolling with some serious silver content, as Bob Johnson points out ... and he's right to count all the numbers before deciding -g- .... my theory - one day they run silver ... that's it ... don't know how, don't know why, but they'll run the sucker, they always did before

Your First Quantum is looking quite reasonable lately, it's on my list for tax loss time ... got a whack of aur.to already, fair bit of imn.to, a little fm.to at the right price would top off a nice position in copper imho ... cheers
