India tends to tell other countries to take their advice and shove it when it comes to bilateral issues. The U.S. should step lightly into this ... Germany was recently told in a nice way India did not need their advice ... of course they said it politely as Indians always do. India has very good relations with Germany. There will be no resolution of the Kashmir issue until Pakistan sponsored terrorism is dealt with on the same scale as it has been in Afghanistan. If the U.S. asks India to talk to Pakistan they will probably say "Ok, we'll talk to Pakistan if you'll talk to Osama bin Laden."
