It's the dialect. I dig well, therefore I am a well digger. No, that does not work because "well" is a noun. So if "well" is a noun and someone is digging a well then does that not make them a craftsman? And if you indict craftsmen then aren't you indicting what this country has as it's Foundation? I put it to you, Jorj--isn't this an indictment of our entire American society?
