I think 9/11 will spur more sales of DSL/Cable. I think we will see people stay at home more creating a demand for higher speed connections to the outside world (today's news out of NYC will only add to this effect - re:anthrax spreading).

Many on this thread love to beat up on 3G before it gets started. It obviously is not going to go as fast or as well as planned (what does) but eventually (say 5 years) wireless will be very common form of high speed access providing services you won't get from your home connection (location based stuff, over the air data synch/backup for your PDAs, etc.) I see the wireless carriers in a great position to offer all kinds of value added services.

In any case wireless will be interesting to watch.

IMHO Claude (rhymes with TOAD)

ILEC's have found another incentive for us to buy DSL lines. Can now get TV over the twisted pair on the east coast of Canada, and Ma Bell threatens to roll out the service across Canada shortly.
