You're right it was a wacky week.

Lots of games are not easy calls. I base my optimism about VT's chances against Pitt on the way that Syracuse easily handled Pitt at Pittsburgh. Even though Syracuse is showing itself to be a much better team than I thought they would be this year, the ease with which they beat Pittsburgh leads me to believe that VT will not have a problem beating the Panthers. Pressure the QB and VT will win easily. (providing they play close to their A game)

Unless there is something wrong with the VT football team that I don't see...overrated...weak schedule.....not as good as they seem...Virginia Tech should win easily. JMO

>>>I'M not making any predictions this year .Pitt has a great team, they beat,?? Temple last week.....They will be fired up. I say they play well against a team with an immobile QB like Va Tech...but I say if we fall behind we see the other QB...Brian Randall.who is a more "Vick" like QB......<<<<<

Well Randall didn't do any better.!! We are in big time trouble now !!! I could write a book on some of my thoughts but who cares.....Beamer has taken the program the past two years for big salary increases ; threatening to go elsewhere; i.e. North Carolina unless we met all his demands. At some point I think the players start to question just why he is motivated. I think the players need to know the coach is putting them first especially above money. The open date b4 Syracuse ESPN interviews Beamer wherever his lake house or retreat is in Georgia..just away for the weekend; IMO he should have been looking at Syracuse films for the bucks we are paying him.
