"Bombing is ridiculous - it doesn't work and it makes a mockery of the justice system. " Thomas or Mohammad, whichever is your real name: YOu should know that there is every moral reason for the US to bomb Afghansitan, and if you donìt shut-up, we will bomb you in Beirut too! You thrid worlders have benefited from what US offeres, but then hate it because you envy the US. You envy the Jews for the different reason, because we can beat you all bunched together! Just look at the history! I don't hate you becasue your and Arab or your skin is not white, or wear filip-flops and wear seven days crappers! I dislike you becasue you make a mockery of God, and use relgion to kill innocent people! What your people did in New York is not to be forgotten or forgiven! So don't push your luck.

I believe in law and order too - when possible. But it doesn't function across some national borders and within some countries. For example, Osama bin Ladin and the top officials of al-Qaida were under indictment long before Sept. 11. Our legal system has been trying to get their hands on them for some time. The countries where he has operated have at best kicked him out (Saudi Arabia and Sudan) and at worst flatly refuse to hand them over (Taliban-ruled Afghanistan). There's an UN resolution demanding that Afghanistan turn them over. It's been ignored also. So we've tried to handle things the law and order way and because theTaliban refused to cooperate, Sept. 11 happened. I see two choices - military force or simply passively waiting for the next atrocity and the next and the next. Remember, Thomas, if we don't stop them, sooner or later al-Qaida will get you.
