See, its Ibn Batuta. Not Batuta ibn Daddy's Name ? It's like Pliny the Younger. Or "W" or George 43 a nickname, as it were, or even a nom de guerre. BTW, ibn=bin="Ben" in Hebrew (more or less) (Ben Gurion, Ben-Elizer, Ben n Jerry) Climber (then there's "Abu" -- -- An Arabic word for a holy man or saint from any religion that is used mostly by archaeologists. Arabs of today use the word as a slang term to describe the head of a family or father of children. OR a Halloween greeting, whicher you prefer)
