Kangaroo? I thought these were some sort of composite material.

Usually you can get out of the clips before you fall. The right shoe was a little tight. The Shimano clips are pretty much interchangeable I think, and that's what Darren had on his bike, but I probably should have adjusted it.

oh well, c'est la vie...

they work like ski bindings. At least the modern versions. And it is much safer to have clips than it is to not have clips.
