Hi tekboy, Re: can you produce any evidence at all, even from a secondary or hostile source, that such a comment was made? I'd be curious, because it would make great joke fodder if true.... The trouble with TV is that you see things, you hear things, and then they are gone. I'm recalling that I saw that comment made by GWB in a press conference or speech shortly after the events of 9/11 in coverage by C-SPAN. I'll see what I can do about turning up a transcript. So far, Google hasn't been forthcoming. The typical dozens of URLs that aren't quite the one you really want. Best, Ray :)
