When it comes to golf, I am a complete neophyte, or whatever is worse than that.

Hitting wing shots means killing birds cleanly as they fly by or away from you. I have done very little of that in my life. My bird hunting consists of shooting grouse with a .22 rifle or pistol, on the ground, in the head.
