I speculate that the anthrax issue is not home breed than it is done to detract the attention of the public and intelligence agencies Certainly possible, and it would be a "clever" thing to do. OTOH, anthrax scares from domestic source have been a fairly common occurence in this country for several years now. It doesn't seem to make much news - AFAIK nobody had died - but Anthrax through the Mail is not new. Just ask anyone working at a Planned Parenthood. Let's just hope they find something soon...

The radiation type is what I was talking about, it's cheap, easy to make, and will fit in a cargo container. Line the inside of the container with lead and it won't set off alarms. We only look in about 2% of the containers that come in, and them after the ship has docked ( which would be no good if they set up door trigger along with a cell phone trigger ) If we don't inspect containers at sea before they get into port we are sitting ducks. Also we are going to have to inspect a lot more than any 2%.. There is Xray equipment that can do the job, however it still needs to be done at sea, but I don't think they will do it until after a disaster. ( par for the course ) Jim

I still think the gov't is trying to dis-inform as to source of anthrax. These fact;s still remain 1)IRAQ has been known to train OBL people 2)Czecq govt confirms ATTA meeting with Iraq in prague 3)shortly after that meeting he was inquiring about crop dusting 4)Sun in Boca editor was a terrorist's landlord, and terrorist lived 10min away 5)local terrorist would not waste anthrax on SUN, but a forighn agent would, not realizing its a tabloid 6)Trenton is fairly close to Jersey city a hot bed of terrorist's. all circumstantial, but the fact that the whole crop duster thing is being swept under the table is pretty suspicious. Its much like the prague meeting was ignored for 6 weeks.
