Credit Card Companies: the "good ones, COF and KRB", down over a buck. the crapola, PVN, up a few pennies, the real crapola, nxcd- nextcard, down 78% to a buck and change. hmm. maybe there's a trend. glad they don't trade energy futures. from briefing .com on PVN: " 10:33AM Providian Fincl (PVN) 3.75 -0.21: Website The Daily Deal reported last night that sources said PVN has hired Goldman Sachs to help find a buyer for the company; Bloomberg has picked up this story this morning as well, giving it wider play. We have a call into PVN seeking comment on these rumors.larry
