They are trying and learning the system that's all.

BTW interesting way of transportation when you are fearful of a brother in law <VBG>

He has maintained through both his lawyers that he opted for the unusual mode of transportation because he feared a powerful brother-in-law in Cairo

Interesting that Al Queda founders are from Saudi Arabia and Egypt .......... which are supposed to be US close allies and that issue should worry many

Well we have the warning and I don't know why the
powers that be are dragging their feet.
Just think of the TOTAL impact if one or two ship
cargo containers has a dirty bomb in it that goes
off.
The shut down we had of airlines would be small potatoes
to turning every container ship at sea back to it's
last port and off loading it to check the containers.

Sure it will be expensive to certify every container
at loading time , and will hurt a lot of shippers
BUT don't do it and before it's over
the expense will be more than I can count.

If those shipping stuff to us have to pay for the
inspections it might well cause them to think more
about joining this war against terrorism instead
of just giving it lip service.

PS
To top that off , the last ports may not even want to let
the ships back in after one goes up.
What do we do , ( sit on our ass while the politicains
bury their head in the sand & give us lip service )..
They have to know this is coming it's just a matter
of time.
