I wish McCain had won the Republican nomination and the presidency. He knows what it's like to be in a war. Hopefully he has the ear of the President, who I believe is a good man, but needs all the help he can get right now.
All this President bashing (from whatever political direction it is coming from) in time of war is verging on treason, IMHO.

Who is we? The President warned us at the beginning it was going to be a long war. Did you think he was kidding?

I think the point is that we underestimated their tenacity when we should have overestimated.
