Actually, their Top 40 careers were very similar, with Como's beginning a year earlier than Williams' (in '55) and ending a year later (in '73). Como had 29 Top 40 hits and Williams had 27.

Williams had 4 movie themes, Days of Wine and Roses, Dear Heart, Love Story and The Godfather, and Como had 1 movie theme with Somebody Up There Likes Me in '56.
