Oh look how generous the world's largest Muslim country is to their fellow Muslims ... compared to the U.S. pledge of over $500 million to aid the Afghan refugees this is like a slap in the face. I found this news on a Pakistani news site. Indonesia donates 20,000 dollars for Afghan Refugees ISLAMABAD, Oct 30 (APP): The Indonesian Minister Jusaf Kalla on Tuesday presented a first cheque of 20,000 US dollars to the Minister for KANA & SAFRON, Abbas Sarfaraz Khan to provide relief goods to the Afghan Refugees in Pakistan. The Minister thanked the Minister and Government of Indonesia and its people for this warm gesture of solidarity. He said that the relief assistance from Indonesian would help reduce the problems of Afghan Refugees. The Minister hoped that the sufferings of Afghan people would soon come to an end. He said every one has condemned the September 11 incident and said the attack on Afghanistan should be targeted and short. The Indonesian Minister appreciated the role of Pakistan, its people for hosting millions of Afghan Refugees for the past 20 years. He said that Pakistan and Indonesia are Muslims and enjoy good relation. Their country would continue its support to the people of Afghanistan on humanitarian basis and to share the burden of Pakistan.
