Leigh, Hi!! RE: Dell Computer Reiterated Near-Term `Buy' at Merrill By Lindsey Mackay Princeton, New Jersey, Oct. 30 (Bloomberg Data) -- Dell Computer Corp. (DELL US) was reiterated near-term ``buy'' by analyst Steven M Fortuna at Merrill Lynch. The long-term rating was also reiterated ``buy.'' The target price is $30 per share. The other thing that strikes me is the recent prediction by Michael of "HIGH SINGLE DIGIT GROWTH" for the industry...Would be interesting to have someone ask him if he felt he still could grow at the rate he has been growing at since he put the squeeze on with the prices...At some points it's been noted that DELL was growing at 10 times the industry rate... :o) Best, Kemble
