why I think? Saddam is odd Arab out
he is almost totally unconnected to Arab world
he is regarded as a threat by his neighbors
he gassed Kurds
he denies medicine to his people, blames USA
they respect his survival despite thumbing nose at USA
I doubt he is even viewed as much of a military mind

he is a madman in their eyes, but I could be wrong
who has heeded the 6-week old call for JIHAD so far?
a pack of Pakis

all hell could break loose if the murder inside churches continues
we will see what happens as Paki Mushareef arrested 15
they killed 15 inside a Catholic Church in Pakistan
I didnt know there were any Catholics in Pakistan
I hear unsubstantiated stories of hiding munitions in mosques in Afghany
I dont blame them, but imagine the PR if he blow up mosques
blowing up a mosque in Afghany is nowhere near as risky as blowing up a mosque in Saudi Arabia
depends what is inside the mosque
but maybe not

I think Sodomy is largely regarded as a lunatic
even among Arabs
Iran hates him
Kuwait hates him
Saudi Arabia fears him
dunno about Syria and Jordan

12:06 ET Nasdaq Composite : -- Technical -- Index has edged below initial support in the area of 1700/1702. Nonetheless, the sell pressure looks relatively flat at this point in the session. If it should break cleanly lower, look for subsequent downside support at today's intraday low of 1690 followed by additional support in the area of 1670/1675.
