This is what I mean by unfounded Chris: "we are bombing a poor nation of people for the actions of a few crazies....without dealing with any of the real reasons behind the hatred" We have just begun this campaign. We are bombing Taliban and Al Quida equipment and personel, not "a poor nation of people" as you would like to believe. The perpretartors of the attack are also something more than "a few crazies". They are a well organized group of terrorists numbering in the thousands and protected by a rogue government that offers their own people oppresion and poverty. As far as not dealing with the real issues that cause this you are speaking too soon. We are dropping food aid, and will double the aid that we gave the country before September 11, which already was more than any other nation gave them. I will even give you the argument that we could have done more in the past, but that is not enough to criticize the present, when our stated goals are that we will help. But first we have to kill "a few crazies" as you refer to the Taliban and Al Quida. Last but not least, I hope your statement "When are we going to MAKE A STAND against the OIL factor in our policies????? WHEN?" indicates that you will follow GWB's initiative to have a national energy policy and that we should go see what we have in our own backyard (Anwar) before a situation is created that is similar to our current situation.
