I don't trust private companies because they have produced the inept system we have currently. To save money, they hired employees that worked cheap and they got what they paid for. There is alot of "face lift" security going on currently, but in fact we really don't have good security even now.

The main weak link is that in the domestic US we don't screen our baggage that is checked and transported in the baggage hold of the plane. I feel this is exposing us to a suicide bombers who might buy a ticket and blow himself up with the plane.

Last night I heard that the company that currently supplies the security has been a GOP contributor so I am certainly suspicious that his motives are to appease his campaign contributors.

My concern is for safety and I do not trust what I am hearing because of the campaign contributions. We don't need any more face lifts on airplane security.....we need action and we need it fast. I flew on 6 different planes a couple weeks ago and I won't be going again until the problem is fixed.........many others feel like I do.

TOday is Halloween and I am giving out candy so I won't have time to answer your posts. I have much to do and sometimes it isn't worth while to sit on this chair and argue with someone who I will never agree with anyway..........kind of pointless isn't it?
