I think that SOI produces little or no benefit on transistor speed and will probably produce a yield decrease that is worse than any possible speed benefit. I know it was him. Kind of hard to respond to someone you have on ignore. Looks like Dan3 and Albert are "outdoing themselves" today, just from the Intel backers warding them off. Is your opinion about SOI from the Intel bible, or do you have first-hand, second-hand or (best) hands-on info? Tony
