OT I don't think the Philippine Government would permit the 100,000 to go to Pakistan and also don't think Pakistan would accept them. Their best bet is secretly go by boats but the problem is where are they going to land. What country in its right mind is willing to challenge the US ? Even the Taliban are just running for cover, not fighting. They are employing the same strategy employed twice successfully by Sadam Hussien taking cover in Caves or Bunkers and among Civilians.

It seems the US is having a hard time figuring out how to conquer the Taliban and Bin Laden.

The war in Mindanao and outlying areas would be fought Jungle style like in Vietnam. Have the Americans learn something that they would have employed successfully to have conquered Vietnam? One additional problem this time is that the Abu Sayyaf take hostages with them and they easily merge with the general population.

Are we going to take out the enemy when it means taking out scores of civilians with them?
