IT might have been I never checked it out all that
much, that would be old news now even if it was
true. I expect true or not it pushed her up
a lot last year. I bought puts when she hit about
19 then I unwound all my positions when she dropped
to about 15. I Haven't looked at her since until
today.

The WSJ misreported that Berkshire Hathaway had taken a position in the bonds (and others picked up that story and ran with it), about the time they were buying Finova debt, and later they reported that they were in error. Buffett did not make any comment except that he usually doesn't comment.

Wednesday's action in ENE looked like another WSJ-influenced counter-trend and likely to be a short-lived move.
