Microsoft, Feds Reach Tentative Deal

WASHINGTON (AP) - Microsoft Corp. and the Justice Department (news - web sites) reached a tentative agreement Wednesday to settle the historic antitrust case against the software giant, and state attorneys general were reviewing terms of the deal, according to people familiar with the talks.

I totally agree. But only a few years ago, this situation would be unthinkable IMO, and next time Microsoft releases something, it might not only be RR who is "late".
