Windsock, Remember bubble memory technology in the early 70's and forward? It was supposed to be next great mass storage device that was going to obsolete magnetic disc drives. That never happened.


Sure, and Josephson's Junctions, plated wire memory, were two more. I remember when SOS was silicon on sapphire.
