Little Joe there is truth to what you say but just remember what they did to Gingrich when he acted different. They accused the Republicans of wanting to feed the old dog food. That when they were 1 % apart on the money to be spent. I guess the Democrats wanted gourmet dog food. Still the press treated them like they were the spawn of hell.After that the Republicans got back in line. I just wish the press treated the terrorists with the same venom that they treated the Republicans. The truth is Political Correctness is ruling and ruining our country.

In the matter of defense of the American people it is the job of the commander and chief to determine what is required and go to congress and make it so. IF it was not made so then mr. bill failed. It is not the job of the congress to define, but only to provide the means. A failure in defense is a failure of the executive, not the legislative branch of the government. That's the way it works. If you cannot point to focused speeches in the executive wanting more defensive assets coming from the president then as was posted, mr bill sold a bill of goods. Now all really know that DOD had little interest or meaning to mr. bill. mr. bill was one of the most go everywhere and looks like he saw little and understood less.
