I tend to discount the idea of a company like Lockheed or Raytheon taking over as in DOD it would cause competition problems. Their will be sufficient demand for SGI products that the company is very viable. I could see IBM buying SGI for the numa and visualization technology. I see IBM as the best fit. But all is just speculation.

Do you have a link for this comment? It isn't true, the smart bomb is much less "smart" or effective than the military PR wants people to think it is.
