RSTN Mid-Q update, details of the call need to be updated in detail this weekend:

Q-Q guidance 6 to 10 percent growth

Seeing slowing in China, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan this good

Expect China to be weak 3 to 6 months

GM stable to up next Q

Pricing stable

Good demand for MPLS and Hot Standby features

Cost of goods and break even point lower than competitors

Expect GM of 58 t 60 per

Expect OM 20 to 25 per

EPS 2003 30 to 35 per

Rev from asia 17 percent

7 percent China
10 percent Hong Kong

Minor effect from Sept 11. Lost 2 weeks of sales. Upticked back to normal after.

180 customers, no customer accounting for 5 percent

[Harry: Overall a positive call. Seems to still be good demand for products. Seeing reduced cap ex budgets being re-allocated to metro porjects. ]
