Encourage them to express their feelings on this programming publicly and remind them that come reelection time you will be at the polls bright and early. Many years ago I caught a broadcast on C-Span of a Farakhan event. This was in the days when Shabazz was a rising star. The presentations were enormously hateful. The large crowd of ordinary-looking African Americans was really into it, to the point where a Jewish reporter was run out of the place. There was some reporting of this event in the mainstream media, but not much. I was very glad to have stumbled upon the telecast. Otherwise, I would have had no appreciation of what was going on in my community. I'm sorry I missed the show you've been talking about. You can't find that stuff anywhere but C-Span. I think it's important for these events to be displayed for us to see. Hiding them from the public doesn't make them go away. Karen
