that is a good one.
That happened to us about 5 years ago. We live on a hillside and small spring just appeared under our crawl space and overflowed the foundation and ran into the rec room which is sitting on a pad.
The insurance company was great and it became a good time to redue the rec room.
Just replace the carpet and the carpet pad!
Brings back memories of my daughter.<G>

You need two really, one that is plugged into the power and another that is powered by batteries, with an alarm when the battery fails. I have no problem with my house since I have the perimeter drain vent to the outside since our house is on hill. Makes for nice walk out basement, having a house on a hill that is.
