Hi Susan,

Use SAR and ADX in combination - if ADX is saying "trending" (curving up, preferably from below 20 and crossing above), then SAR would normally be more effective than when ADX is saying "non-trending" (curving down). Personally I prefer to just use SAR as a trailing stop once I am profitable and only if it is closer to the price than my normal risk tolerance would be.
