Bicycle, Ted's actually covering up for a very serious beta carotene addiction. As you may or may not know, too much beta carotene can cause a distinct bronzing of the skin. He was down to two bunches of carrots a day but with all that's happening he is up to four a day. In medical terminology, Ted is suffering from the "Bugs Bunny Syndrome."

I suggest he takes up smoking instead.
