The funny part about your comment is that it's all about setting expectations. If a serious effort starts in Congress to discuss payment from SA and ME for terrorist support, in the range of economic damage levels of $1/2 T, then everything else will look easy by comparison. We'll get the usual "imperialist" reaction, but then look like nice guys when we settle for less. BTW, I just want to thank ratan lal and Bilow for the excellent discussion, and hope my previous comments didn't come across as being testy or xenophobic, which they weren't intended to be. For whatever reasons the 'best and the brightest' seem to come here from the rest of the world and be part of our communities, and I for one am humbled and grateful for that.
