Msft is close to taking out its 200 day ema today. If it breaches that resistance, it might make the risk/reward ratio on a short position unfavorable.

Otoh, external events will continue to whipsaw this market for the indefinite future.

Don't you think the market already knows this and has this factored in? All the talking heads say anymore about MSFT is don't they have problems because the PC is dead?

When the talking heads are convinced of something, you know the stock market has accounted for it months before.

PS: The stock is a rocket today. I can't recall such sustained strength in a long time. Pretty good volume too. Sure it could fall. The market might fall 50%, but shorting MSFT isn't really a play on their specific fundamentals, IMO.
