rd, it also doesn't make sense to not run stock options down the income statement.

however, the govt benefited mightily from the bubble which benefited mightily from alan.com's statistical charades and lax accounting policies.

btw, i do think debt has increased and savings decreased to unsustainable levels. i read on the real estate bust thread that one lady's bank refi'd her when she was 8 months past due on payments. they tacked the interest on and gave her a lower interest rate so her monthly payment dropped.

this behavior tells me the bank was scared and scared bad.
