The ringtone business is something I heard about around 8 months ago. Story dealt with a competitor or maybe an inhouse product that was selling rapidly (or at least catching the eye of both marketers and accountants)...downloadable ringtones. Fads and pop culture 'phenomenon' blitz campaigns can create quick profits in the mobile web business. As mobile web grows, it affords that much more of a revenue pool for the likes of INSP to get a piece of. Proprietary technologies and patent protection will mean more and more...I would like to know which companies presently have fundamentally sound patents and proprietary technology and a lousy business plan. These are the names that one could own for the arbitrage value alone! INSP has what? 4 Patents currently, all new within the last couple years, right? They claim to have over 50 Patents either in the "Pipeline" or is it possibly "Patent Pending"?
