"Did you know that the publics' esteem of the US Supremes rose after they shut down the Dems assault on democracy and sent Gore to the dustbin of history? And that it has continued to rise?" That is good news indeed. I watched WAY too much of that fiasco and it really turned me off to the democratic party (the politicians, not necesarily the citizens). The lower court cases they threw out were very strong imo. I was impressed with the Judges that ruled and was FLABERGASTED when the FL SC butchered their decisions. Particularly when the Chief Justice of the FL SC basically said they were breaking the law with their second ruling (or was it their 3rd). I hate to think where we would be right now if we did not have the 7 sensable justices on the Supreme Court.
