HOMEFREE..that was the debut. I agree with your sentiments regarding Longer, etc..There was still good stuff to come following that. The swansong IMO was Innocent Age. It has the dreaded "Leader of the Band" but it also has some really great stuff. If you ever get a chance to catch him when he passes through town...do it. He's still shines live...especially on the solo tours with no band Dan was part of that California contingent that included Jackson Browne, members of the original (and best) Eagles, Joe Walsh, Jim Messina, and more I never miss a show when he passes through town. Took my parents last time and we had 1st row. Mom was tearing up during a couple tunes..that to me is the true measure. Tears or goosebumps
