Hi marcos,
My wife introduced me to wine which for me was an acquired taste, before that I was a 'Baby Duck' and Labatt Blue guy LOL. I like both white and red, we have some excellent Chardonnay, Riesling, Vidal as well as Pinot Noir and Merlots here and you can always find a couple of bottles of each hanging around in the 'wine cellar' (cold basement shower :o). We also have, aside from the great domestic micro breweries, a good selection of foreign beers and I'm afraid I've become quite snooty in my middle years eschewing my old standbys of Blue and Ex for micro brews and alien suds.

re: city. We grew up in the city and I never liked it. I was thrilled when we moved out to the burbs. There were still farms and vast areas of woods and the St-Lawrence all close by. The part of TO I live in is the eastern edge ,(hence my profile). We live between two valleys (heavily wooded and protected from development) and near the Lake which unfortunately is not.

they say you have to build three before you get it right I've reno'd two does that count ? :o) I'll definitely get qualified help. I've got customers in construction, homebuilding so I can get good contacts in the various trades.

same as with National Gold Hmmm! frank over on SDII just mentioned buying that a few days back. Maybe I'll give it a look.
