The heroes were union members. The firefighters and police officers as well as the airline crews were union members.

Probably every American will be forever grateful for the NYC Firemen and Policemen and women ....There are so many heros....And yes, many of them belong to unions....

My guess is that each of us have people that belong to unions to whom they are close. Most of us respect people, whether or not they belong to a union.

That seems to be the difference flappy....The way you "talk", EVERYONE should be a union member to be of any value. You certainly come across that way, IMO.

Many of us think of unions when we remember our hard working working parents and other relatives and friends who retired after years of belonging to a union, and their "peanut pension" has worked itself up from $15 a month to now $68.... And at the same time, we remember the stories of Jimmy Hoffa and the other thugs who were heads of unions....

S0oooo..........perhaps you, while you are online and working for your union, can be the kind of individual that would help erase those negative thoughts, and instead give us some new thoughts that don't reinforce the old ones.....

Edit: Caught a nice grub....with 8's
