yes twister, but please don't mistake me for a Bill and Steve fan. I was a Sun fan for a long time. I'm sad, not happy, that Microsoft ends up winning and Sun ends up losing because of a crummy confluence of factors. Sun probably got spread too thin trying to cope with bubble-induced explosive growth, the emergence of Linux from left-field, and now they're bleeding from the implosion. As I've told you publicly and privately, they didn't necessarily have to lose, they fumbled.

Microsoft remains free to terrorize their partners, bully their customers and stifle innovation because our government decides to turn its back on the laws its officials are sworn to enforce, laws that have already been found in two courts to have been violated . No breakup remedy ever made sense, but how about some behavioral remedies with teeth instead of an MP3 icon?

It goes along with all the other sucky stuff that's been happening lately.
