Addi.. I must admit my limited knowledge in what you have stated here except re. Parsis.. However, it is interesting enough and detailed enough that I will pass it on to a friend of mine who is a Professor, widely read in terms of religions, Islam and all others.. See what he has to say.. May not happen too soon because he travels a lot.. As for Islam owing many aspects of its faith to other religions that had come before it, I have no problem with.. Let's not forget here the basic premise that Qu'ran and basis of Islam is revelations by God to the Prophet Mohammed.. And Qu'ran acknowledges all the other prophets and followers.. and the basic premise is there is only one God.. In any case, my time on this thread and for that matter on SI hence forth will be quite limited since a lot of personal stuff is making it difficult.. All the best..
