There was the crash in Pakistan of a helicopter that was going to be used to get the Rangers out ( the one caused by dust, supposedly). Two were killed.
There was another accident in Afghanistan where they just lost their helicopter wheels and I think three rangers were injured during the drop, but I heard no details of the injuries.

BTW, a good friend of mine is a Ranger reserve. He was called up on September 11th. Whenever he gets back, I'll relay any war stories that he's allowed to tell me.
